Conversation Club is a friendly, relaxed gathering where you can practice speaking English in a comfortable, supportive environment. Each week, we create a space where learning happens naturally - through genuine conversations, shared laughter, and new friendships.

Free settlement support for newcomers to Orleans, Ontario. One-on-one support from people who understand your journey. Get help with the practical tasks of settling in Canada.
We can help with:

- Resume preparation

Yes, completely free. No fees, no costs, ever.
Do I need to be a church member to participate?
Absolutely not. These are community programs open to everyone, regardless of faith background.
What if I don't speak much English?
That's exactly why Conversation Club exists! We welcome all levels. For Newcomer Support Hub, we offer support in both English and French, and our volunteers work patiently at your pace.
Who can benefit from Conversation Club?

Newcomer Support Hub is for anyone new to Canada living in Orleans, Ontario, including:

Can I use both programs?
Of course! Many people benefit from both - practicing English at Conversation Club while getting settlement support from Newcomer Support Hub.
What if I can't make it to Conversation Club every week?
No problem! For Conversation Club, come when you can - there's no attendance requirement. For Newcomer Support Hub, we work on your schedule.
How do I know which program is right for me?

These services are offered in Orleans, Ontario. Residents in and around the Orleans area of Ottawa (Glouchester, Navan, Rockland, Cumberland, Vanier) can readily access this services.
Who runs these programs?
Community volunteers, many of whom are immigrants themselves. We're supported by Living Rock Church but programs are open to everyone.
